If you know anything about knives buy it.
ok a few things, first this is a full tang knife, and it comes with a fire starter. yes it comes blunter than a butter knife, and yes the rope grip is incredibly uncomfortable. BUT, the hilt has holes with makes re-wrapping the handle with some rope or para-cord very easy, once re-wrapped the handle is comfortable, also the steel is decent quality, so with a little sharpening the knife becomes very usable. bottom line 7$ and 10 minuets of your time and you have yourself a decent knife.

Let me make a few assumptions if you are considering buying this knife. 1) You are not planning on buying a $200 Gerber. 2) You do not consider yourself a survivalist but you do DVR Man Vs Wild. 3) You're buying as a gift for someone who DVRs Man Vs Wild. 4) In all honesty the biggest thing you have ever needed a "survival" knife for while camping is to Rambo open a bag of chips.This was my first full tang knife and I honestly bought it thinking I could do more with it than I really can. Once I stopped trying to baton trees down with it and used it for what it really is, its a good knife. It easily beats any similarly priced folder or multi-tool (and hollow handle piece of junk) for back woods functionality, and its a very educational knife. Good tight fitting glove
I purchased these for use on cold days at work. I get stuck outdoors a lot and need to keep dexterity in my hands for small tasks. I dont like wearing the "mechanic gloves" so I opted for these.They are tight fitting. Its not that the size runs small, its just that they are leather and meant to be snug. I puchased the XL, as I usually wear XL gloves. They were hard to put on the 1st time, but after wearing them for about 20 minutes they fit fine and they are much easier to put on now.I was disapointed in the Kevlar liners. My gloves came with ONE layer of a fairly open weave kevlar fabric inside. My previous experience with cut-resistant kevlar proudcts have had MUCH tighter weave material and MANY more layers. 1 layer of thin, open weave, kevlar will not provide any noticable cut protection. Thankfully, I did not purchase these gloves primarily for their cut resistant properties, so it was not a deal breaker. If you are law enforcement or similar...

Not a good first impression
Upon recieving these gloves, I was disappointed to find that the index finger on my right glove was shorter than the left glove. The overall construction of the glove is pretty good, just bad measurements from the factory. I will be returning the gloves nad hopefully be getting a new pair that is actually useable.

I was in the Army so I know the basics, I'll figure out the drinking tube too. I'm sure if I do a little research on the internet I could find an instruction booklet for this mask though.I will probably order one more as a back up and maybe a couple of NATO filters. I didn't die!
I was planning on spraying my house with some pretty toxic pesticides, so I needed a respirator. In the course of my searching, I found that this NBC protection gas mask is cheaper than any commercially sold respirator. I was a little worried that the mask might be defective given its exceedingly reasonable price, but I decided to put my life on the line for 10 bucks and went with the cheaper, cooler looking alternative.The filter was shipped in a separate bag with an unbroken seal, which I figured bode well for my chances of survival. So I installed the filter, donned the gas mask, and began spraying chemicals. It's not the most comfortable device, but it did fit snugly over my face. The straps are adjustable so I assume it would work for any reasonably shaped human. The spraying took me almost 2 hours, during which the inside of the mask became rather hot and my face started sweating - but lo! I completed the job with not so much as lightheadedness, not to mention...

Good Value - Highly Recommended
This gas mask was in new condition and far exceeded my expectations. I had previously ordered a few of these from Amazon (there are several listings) and this one is exactly the same as those. While I can't vouch for how effective it would be in a real emergency (and I hope to never find out) it is high quality, looking and feeling like it would work as advertised. Here are my observations:Pros -+ Brand New; mask and filter in perfect condition+ Included Drinking Tube; separate connector, but easy to attach when needed+ Easy To Fit; loosen straps before putting on and just pull the tabs to tighten, even seals well with my short beard+ Uses NATO Filters; replacement filters are easy to findCons -- No instructions included- Would not seal with my glasses on, which is a minor inconvenience for me but might be a problem for someone with very bad eyesightWe are keeping these in our family emergency kit, with the hope...
